Butte Festivals

Butte hosted the National Folk Festival for three years, beginning in August of 2008.  Thousands came to enjoy a variety of music within historical "Uptown" Butte.  The National Festival is now moving onto Nashville, Tennessee.  Butte has spun-off with the Montana Folk Festival.  It will run July 8-10th.

The Festivals  are one after another, in the summer months.  Butte is the perfect location for such large gatherings.  It’s historical uptown area is full of character and the views are stunning.  The Farmer’s Market also takes place in the beautiful setting, every Saturday beginning the end of May and into late September.

Butte's famous St. Patrick's Day celebration fills the streets with crazy Irish-inspired energy.  The bars are packed, the streets are busy and the party goes until morning.  Evel Kneivel Days kick-off in July and the The An Ri' Ra'  Irish Festival hits the streets in August.  Butte knows how to throw a party ...many parties ...all summer long (beginning in March ...we can pretend that's summer!)
